Tim Ford lives in Kingsteignton with his family; he served a Carpentry & Joinery Apprenticeship at Torbay Hospital and continued working there for 23 years. His role covered all aspects of general hospital maintenance and maintaining surrounding NHS buildings. The last 3 years of his time at Torbay Hospital was mostly focused on the fitting and renewing of locks on doors, filing cabinets and medicinal storage cupboards.

In 2009 Tim left the NHS to join Signpost Services (now known as Spectrum Property Care) who maintain 35,000 social housing properties across the South of England. His work with them covered carpentry, fitting out of offices, renewing kitchens and general property maintenance including securing properties.

In 2011 Tim decided to train as a locksmith and start his own business. He is now able to offer locksmith services alongside the wide range of skills gained after many years working at the NHS and Signpost Services.
